The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 10 hour Class purpose:

-It sets and enforces a safe work standard and conditions. This includes setting limits on exposure to hazardous substances and requiring employers to follow safety protocols.

-It is education to prevents accident. It also helps employers and workers understand their rights and responsibilities. For example, it helps them navigate filing a needed complaint about unsafe conditions.

-OSHA company conducts inspections and investigations to enforce safety and health standards.

Why Zion Builders Inc. trains our field employees with minimum OSHA 10:

  1. Compliance with the Law: It’s a federal program that is mandatory in the state of Nevada. If you would like to learn more about this law and the history behind it then, visit this link.

  2. Employee Safety: Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our employees. By requiring the OSHA 10 training, we equip them with the knowledge to recognize and mitigate potential hazards in construction work. The OSHA 10 covers general safety and heath for workers.

  3. Customer Assurance: OSHA provides safety to bystanders and prevents property damage or bio hazards. This commitment to safety builds trust and confidence to our customers.

Advanced Safety Training: To further ensure safety, many of our employees also complete OSHA 30 training. This 30 hour class provides supervisory-level safety education tailored to job positions like supervisors, managers, etc. OSHA 30 teaches more in-depth and field specific training. This additional training reinforces our commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Here it what our extraordinaire project manger Matthew Kahler, says about taking the OSHA 10 and 30 class:

It is important to stay safe because if we are'nt "it is a huge threat to the company owners." Mr. Kahler says it makes legal sense for Zion Builders Inc. to require our employees to take the OSHA course.

Lorna Weaver the Chief Operating Officer (COO) says "We don't want anyone to get hurt. We want people to get home at night to see their family. We want our employees to pursue hobbies and dreams. Work isn't everything."
